Zone Conference
This week was Zone Conference and it was a great opportunity to receive revelation! We talked a lot about faith and obedience which was great because in my personal study this week I had come to the conclusion that faith is obedience - based on reflecting/studying on a couple of scriptures, preach my gospel, and Joy Through Covenant Discipleship.
But anyways it was a great Zone Conference and I'm now developing faith to baptize 8 this transfer 💪 Shoot big so that way you hit something even if you don't reach the goal. Highlight of Zone Conference was receiving 2 letters that had been sent to me many many months ago!

Grandma granddaughter date!
This week I had divisions with my granddaughter Hermana Allred!! She's the best and we had a really fun time! Let's just say I'm not the best at frying gluten-free empanadas, but at least I make good french fries!
Hermana Allred is super funny and special! She's a cowgirl from Utah who loves scary movies and sharing the gospel! Her spanish is amazing for only having 9 days in the mission and we put 2 baptismal dates in one day and found a lot of fun new people!!
We finished off the day with ice cream and soda so I'd say I fulfilled my job spoiling my granddaughter!

Highlights!
- Made a lot of french fries this week!!
- On Sunday it rained but the Bishop drove us home from church!
- Met my sobrino Henry!! He's the best baby in the world!
Lowlights
- Because of the rain no one wanted to come to church
- Dyed my feet brown after sitting in church for 2 hours with wet muddy socks 😭
- Our friend with a baptismal date is moving to Mission Mendoza

Conferencia de Zona
Esta semana fue la Conferencia de Zona y fue una gran oportunidad para recibir revelación. Hablamos mucho sobre la fe y la obediencia, lo cual fue genial porque en mi estudio personal de esta semana llegué a la conclusión de que la fe es obediencia después de leer un par de escrituras, predicar mi evangelio y el discurso, Gozo mediante el discipulado por convenio!
En fin, fue una gran Conferencia de Zona y ahora estoy desarrollando la fe para bautizar a 8 personas en este traslado. 💪 Apunta alto para que así logres algo, incluso si no alcanzas la meta. ¡Lo más destacado de la Conferencia de Zona fue recibir dos cartas que me enviaron hace muchos meses!
¡Cita abuela-nieta!
¡Esta semana tuve divisiones con mi nieta, la Hermana Allred! ¡Es la mejor y nos lo pasamos genial! Digamos que no soy muy buena friendo empanadas sin gluten, ¡pero al menos hago buenas papas fritas!
¡La Hermana Allred es súper divertida y especial! Es una cowgirl 🤠 de Utah a la que le encantan las películas de terror y compartir el evangelio. Su español es increíble para solo tener 9 días en la misión. ¡En un solo día pusimos 2 fechas 🤑 y conocimos a mucha gente nueva y divertida!
Terminamos el día con helado y gaseosas, así que diría que cumplí con mi tarea de consentir (malcriar? No se google translate no me ayuda) (digamos que le di muchas cosas dulces y dejamos ahi) a mi nieta. 🤭
¡Lo mejor!
- ¡Preparé un montón de papas fritas esta semana!
- ¡El domingo llovió, pero el obispo nos llevó a casa después de la iglesia!
- ¡Conocí a mi sobrino Henry! ¡Es el mejor bebé del mundo!
Lo peor
- Por la lluvia nadie quería venir a la iglesia.
- Me teñí los pies de marrón después de estar dos horas en la iglesia con los calcetines mojados y llenos de barro. 😭
- Nuestro amigo con fecha se muda a Misión Mendoza.
I trained a missionary but didn't get to meet the missionary he trained while we were in the mission together. I was in the office for my last six months and didn't ever get to go to the zone where they were assigned. However, my trainer, my trainee and I were all in the same room at the same time for a mission conference and I have a picture of the three of us. That's a fun memory.
