Transfer News! (7/7/25)

I apologize for the melancholy last week, but here's a way less stressful week to read about!

Transfersss
Goodbye Tres Arroyos! I'll miss Tres Arroyos after spending half a year (6 months!) (1/3 of my mission) here, but I'm excited to go and see what Santa Rosa has in store for me! I'll be a Sister Training Leader there which for those who don't know means I'm in charge of taking care of all the Sister missionaries in my area!

I'm super excited especially since my daughter of the mission, Hermana Villagrán, is going to be in my same district in Santa Rosa so I'm going to be her STL!

Also Santa Rosa is like the Texas of my mission so I'm hoping to see a lot of cowboys in these upcoming weeks! 🤠

Parting is Such Sweet Sorrow!
Had to say goodbye to all the sweet members here 😭 It's so sad to leave everyone! I think 7 people have already demanded I leave them my Missionary tag, I just don't have enough to go around!

Fire Week!
We had an awesome week finding people and teaching even though a lot of appointments canceled last minute! On Saturday we passed by a house and knocked and we found a really cute family who welcomed us in right away. We started sharing with the mom first, then a man starts walking down the stairs to come listen and says,

"Did I hear God? I'm really religious!" And so we start sharing with this dad too and then their daughter comes down the stairs and is like, "I want to hear too!" So we share with them about church and at first the mom says she doesn't really like churches and she's not really all that interested in going to one, but we testify about the importance of church worship in our lives and by the end of the lesson she's passing us her phone number so we can send her the direction and telling us they will do everything possible to attend.

So the next day on Sunday they show up to church! And of course because they are a young new family with twin girls and a brand new baby, the members welcome them in with open arms and everyone is cooing and cuddling these adorable kids!

I shared my testimony because it was my last Sunday and this cute family says, "Awww we're sad to see you go! Thanks for everything you did for us! We're definetly coming back next Sunday!" 🥹

Cookies
We had an activity with the young women where we taught everyone to bake cookies and decorated them with homemade frosting. Lets just say it was a big success 😋 The young women were begging to get to do it again!

Well that's the final week here in Tres Arroyos! Today I'll be packing my bags and next week you'll be hearing all about Santa Rosa (🎅🌹)!
