Conferencia!
This week we had Zone Conference and I had to give a presentation in front of everyone 😵💫 It went very well and we recieved a lot of praise so God really came through for me on that one!!
It was a fun Conference and I learned a lot! I'm really excited to get working and implement everything I learned!
Stake Meeting
As part of the Mission Leadership here in the Santa Rosa stake we had to go to a stake meeting after the Conference and it was actually real cool. We got to see all the statistics about baptisms, convert retention, ministering, and all that fun stuff! It was funny because our ward hasn't had any baptisms in 2 years so we didn't have too much to say, but luckily we had two friends with baptismal date so the stake was excited for the ward to have a baptism!
Speaking of our Baptismal Dates...
We set 2 baptismal dates this week!! It was so great! We've been teaching these 2 kids of a member whose not very active and we invited all of them to church, and she said yes! So we walked with them to church on sunday and as we were walking this less active member told me, I'm going to take my kids to church every week, I feel like it'll be really good for them!
The spirit really touched her heart! In church she filmed a little bit and took pictures and put them all on her WhatsApp stories and put in her stories "It was so nice to return to church with my kids." After the first hour the kids went to primary, and they were very well recived considering the fact that there are like 2 other kids in primary.
In primary they talked about the Plan of Salvation and how in order to return to Heavenly Father they need to be baptized. In class they said they wanted to be baptized! After class as they were showing their mom all their drawings they did during class the primary teacher came up to the mom and said the kids wanted to be baptized!
The mom asked the kids if that was true and they both said yes, and the mom said, well let's get them prepared for the special day then!! So they're going to get baptized on August 3rd!
I haven't written in Spanish for a long time in an email so lets put a little spiritual thought in Spanish today!
But that was my super fun week! Also the 20th was the day of friendship here in Argentina so happy day to all my friends!!
